Assistant to the COO
We are seeking to fill the position of Assistant to the COO (reports directly to COO) at Apex Mills, a leading industrial textile manufacturer and supplier. In this important role, the successful candidate will act as the “front line” voice for customers. The position will entail daily involvement with new and existing customers and various suppliers. As such, we are looking for an energetic, ambitious, detail-oriented, well-organized candidate with strong interpersonal and organizational skills Below is a short list of related duties:
•
Field existing customer calls
•
Initiate customer orders
•
Ensure order compliance
•
Initiate customer service cases
•
Sending samples & fabric specs to customers
•
Small order quotations
•
Utilize CRM software (salesforce.com) for new lead & customer maintenance
Knowledge of our CRM software, Salesforce.com, is preferred but not mandatory. We are willing to train. We offer a competitive salary with excellent benefits and 401K.
