COVID-19 Customer Letter

March 18th, 2020

To our Valued Customers,

With the rise of the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Apex Mills family of companies is taking increased measures to protect the health and safety of our employees while maintaining business continuity in service to you, our customers and partners.

In addition to continuing adherence to the current Center for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines, we have developed an extensive contingency plan that includes the following measures:

  1. Our corporate workforce is operating remotely under normal business hours. Customer inquiries and concerns will be addressed per usual.
  2. Our manufacturing sites have had increased awareness of anti-transmission measures and are implementing them to prevent the spread of the virus.
  3. We are limiting contact with all non-essential visitors.
  4. We have confirmed that, at this time, none of our vendors are shipping material from any country with a Level 2 or 3 status as defined by the CDC.gov.
  5. We have developed and are ready to implement the following measures:
    1. The identification of alternate supply chain sources.
    2. The identification of alternate manufacturing facilities to ensure the continued production of your textiles should our capabilities become limited.
    3. The transfer of customer ordered inventory to offsite locations.

Currently, our supply chain is not directly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. We are continuously monitoring the CDC and WHO for updated regulations and reassessing our situation. If adjustments are made to our contingency plan that directly affects our normal business operations with our customers, you will be notified immediately.

Our responsibility to our customers is and has always been our top priority. We will continue working diligently to maintain normal business operations while at the same time taking all steps to decrease the risks of our supply chain being affected during this difficult time. Please feel free to reach out, should you have any further comments or concerns.

Stay Safe and Best Wishes,

Jonathan Kurz
